The playback volume is up, and the audio plays fine if I view the file in vlc. An audio track shows in the timeline but there it no actual sound or waveform, as if its just a silent track. However, when we try to import MKV files to DaVinci Resolve (now at version 18) - one of the best professional tools that take video editing to the next level, the file import failure windows will pop up with an error message "File format not supported", "MKV file not adding audio" or "DaVinci Resolve only shows the audio in the MKV file". MKV files may be high quality Blu-Ray rips, OBS captured footages, or something else. Many people use the MKV format extensively.
